DISNEY'S MAGIC YOUR WAY PACKAGES

With four theme parks and two water parks, Walt Disney World can be a complicated destination. What type of pass should you buy?

"Magic Your Way" at Walt Disney World

This new approach to ticket-buying comes with several options.

Magic Your Way Base Ticket

Choose the number of days you want tickets for, and visit one theme park per day. The per-day price gets lower with more days: for ex., $59.75 for a 1-day ticket, $29/day for a 7-day ticket.

Note that your theme park tickets must be used within 14 days!
Magic Your Way tickets don't have to match the length of your stay at your Resort.

      Park Hopper Option
       The Park Hopper option lets you come and go through multiple theme parks on the same day (for the entire            length of your ticket.) Cost is a flat $35 per ticket, regardless of number of days.

        Magic Plus Pack Option

This option adds visits to other Walt Disney World attractions: choose from the two Water Parks, DisneyQuest® Indoor Interactive Theme Park, and more. Cost is $45 per ticket, and the number of "plus" admissions varies from 2 to 5 depending on the length of the ticket.

No Expiration Option

          The Magic Your Way Base Tickets expire 14 days from their first use. When you add the No Expiration                Option, you can come back for unused days at any time in the future. Cost varies with the length of                          your ticket: for ex.,$10 is for a 2-day ticket, $55 for a 7-day ticket.

         Magic Your Way Package plus Dining Option
       For each night of your resort stay, each family member gets a combination of meals and snack, at a choice              of more than 100 restaurants in the Walt Disney World parks and hotels. See details, below.

         Magic Your Way Premium Package

          This deluxe package includes breakfast, lunch and dinner per person, plus options such as theme park                       tours or admission to the Cirque du Soleil show, La Nouba.

          Some points to consider....
          So what's in it for The Mouse? First of all, you have to stay at a Disney World Resort to get this deal:                       hardly a hardship. Disney World Resorts are great places to stay,

plus you get perks such as:

Extra Magic Hours in the park, when only resort guests are admitted. (Each day, one theme park opens one hour early or stays open three hours later, for Disney Resort guests.)
assured entrance to the theme parks during peak days
use of the excellent Disney buses to the theme parks

The Value resorts offer excellent price point; fun theming; pools and food courts; reliable quality.

The Moderate resorts each have their own character and theming, have pools with slides, and typically offer so much on-site recreation you'll definitely want to spend a day at the resort.

The Luxury resorts are beautiful, have more elaborate pools, extra services, kids club and spa, and frequently get kudos in lists of Best Resorts.

Mickey's also hoping you'll take a longer vacation, because "the longer you play, the less you pay per day."

Walt Disney World is a vast destination: staying a week would allow one day for each of the four theme parks, one day at one of the two waterparks, one day to return to your favorite park, one day to relax and enjoy your resort.

Magic Your Way Package plus Dining Option: details

As noted above, with the Dining Plan, each member of your family gets two meals and a snack, at a choice of over 100 restaurants in the Walt Disney World parks and hotels.

guests could save up to 30% on meals
the plan must be purchased for all Guests in the party (age 3 and up) for the total number of nights at the resort.
with this option, families have a more inclusive-priced vacation: by paying in advance, you can worry less about spending while on the spot.
Dining Option costs $35 per adult/night, $10 per child, for one sit-down meal, one counter-service meal, and one snack per day.

Prepaid meals include (daily, for each family member):

1 table Service meal; 1 appetizer; 1 entrée; 1 dessert; 1 non-alcoholic beverage. OR
1 full buffet; 1 non-alcoholic beverage; 1 counter service meal; 1 Entrée with side; 1 Dessert; 1 non alcoholic beverage. OR
complete combo meal with dessert and non alcoholic beverage; 1 snack; frozen ice-cream novelty;

popcorn scoop (single serving box) ; 20 oz. Bottle of Coke, Diet Coke, Sprite or Dasani Water; medium fountain soft drink; 1/2 pint of milk

Meal coupons can be used in any way: a guest could use 3 snack coupons in one day. Also, two table service meals can be exchanged for a signature meal such as the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue dinner show.
